Right of Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy describes your right to withdraw from a contract with Iglesias & Pereira Dona Mecia GbR (the “Site”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) when you purchase products through www.donamecia.com (the “Site”) as a consumer within the European Union.

1. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you (other than the carrier), received the goods in your possession.

2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email):

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

3. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal.

• Reimbursement: We will use the same means of payment for the reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
  
  
• Retention Right: We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
  
  
• Return of Goods: You must send back the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
  
  
• Return Costs: You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
  
  
• Diminished Value: You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
  
  
  Please note: As per our GTC, removing or damaging the security seal or the sewn-in Dona Mécia label will be considered a use of the item, resulting in a claim for compensation for the loss of value.
  
  

4. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:

• Contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.
• Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery (e.g., certain jewelry or intimate accessories).
