Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy describes your right to cancel a contract with Iglesias & Pereira Dona Mecia GbR (the “Site”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) when you purchase products or services through www.donamecia.com (the “Site”) as a consumer within the European Union.

1. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded on our Site within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day:

  • you, or a third party named by you (other than the carrier), received the goods in your possession; or
  • in the case of services, the contract was concluded.



2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us (Iglesias & Pereira Dona Mecia GbR, Hainer Weg 80, 60599 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, info@donamecia.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or email).

You may use the model withdrawal form (see below), but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

3. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day we receive notice of your withdrawal.

We will use the same means of payment for the reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

4. Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:

  • Contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.
  • Contracts for the provision of services (e.g. rental of garments for a fixed date) after the service has been fully performed, if performance began with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the contract had been fully performed.
  • Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
